The darling posy bowl in the photo is thought
to have been designed by master potters Wade as a follow-up to their
adorable 'idle good for nothing bargeman' posy bowl. However, the
plan was shelved when this gorgeous historic vessel was smashed to
pieces by mindless vandals.
A company spokesman comented: 'Oh for the love of - what the heck
are they playing at on Canvey? Can't those peasants uprise and smash
their opressors, or are they too preoccupied with happy shopper
biscuits and lottery scratch cards to see they are being totally
shafted? These lowlife don't deserve a comemarative posy bowl!!'
And so, tragically, the Canvey Barge Posy Bowl was never
produced, and all that remains is this artist's impression of how it
might have looked.
You are bidding on a jpeg photo which will be emailed to the
glorious triumphant bidder. The creation was made possible by kind
patronage of Colin who cunningly outfoxed all you Ebay losers to win
my last Concrete Barge related jpeg at a paltry £3.99. This money
was selflessly reinvested in a bottle of organic red wine from Asda
and a bag of maltesers, official confectionary of
www.concretebarge.co.uk to inspire this work of art.
