This extreamly rare* Jigsaw puzzle is of a genuine Ferro
Concrete Barge. These Barges were built during the second
world war (WW2) when there was a shortage of building materials..
They were incredibly made of Concrete but still floated - All the
way to France in fact as part of the MULBERRY
HARBOUR during D-Day.
After winning the war for the Allies, they were and still are
used as Floating House Boats, Jettys, for shoring up Banks, Public
Urinals, Play areas, Needle Banks, Concert Halls & Yacht
Clubs.
Missing pieces
Unfortunately the item shown in the picture has a some pieces missing
- a few million in fact. They went missing on May 22nd 2003 in what
has become known as "522". Sadly all we have left is this Picture
and a crappy website called www.ConcreteBarge.co.uk For
more information on these marvelous vessels please visit the site
- look at the art work - laugh at the freaks and sign the guestbook!
*So rare in fact it sadly doesn't exist in reality - Only as an
artistic concept in these pictures - Therefore you are bidding
for the pictures in jpg format e-mailed to you on completion
of sale. Print them out - frame them - you can dine out on the zany
stories for years to come?
