Never before seen on Ebay and possibly the only
one of its kind in the UK. I purchased this stunning
mug on a recent visit to Munich. It bears the logo
of Bayern Munich Football Club. Like Manchester
United, they are a rich, succesful and universally
loathed football club looking to market themselves
as a global brand. Amazingly, Bayern have emblazened
their souvenir bric-a-brac with "FCB" in order to
win favour with the United Kingdom and her dominions.
For every man woman and child throughout this empire
instantly associates 'FCB' with the heroic Ferro
Concrete Barges of World War 2, and in particular
with THE Concrete Barge of Canvey Island that secured
our victory in 1945 and maintained peace in Europe
into the new millenium, only to be murdered in cold
blood the fateful morning of 22 May 2003. For a
full account of this odious and cowardly act of
terrorism, visit www.concretebarge.co.uk
The mug is new and shiny. It comes equipped
with a gorgeous curved handle (not pictured) for
optimum holding pleasure. Shipping is free to
Canvey as a mark of respect to an Island in
mourning. Shipping is also free to Munich as a
salute to a city building bridges of peace and
rainbows of love, and to Cologne Sector 3 which,
along Romanville in France, is twinned with
Canvey. Hold on, how can you have three twins? Is
there no end to the junket-hopping greed of Castle
Point Councillors? Elsewhere, postage is £1.50 UK,
£3.50 Europe, £5 USA/Canada.
Paypal, UK cheque, postal orders or cash (GBP,
US$ or Euros) accepted.
