For ages now we at http://www.concretebarge.co.uk/ have been campaining (well moaning anyway) about the destruction of the people of Canvey (birth place of Wilko Johnson) Island's heritage - The Cresta Run, The Art Deco Arcade, The Lighthouse (the one at the original Oysterfleet - Not the record shop), the Circular Bogs at the end of Seaview Road & of course the Jelico Bogs at the other end (pardon the pun madam). Bear with me im going somewhere with this.

The latest outrage was the '522' demolishment of the war hero Ferro Concrete Barge that stood proudly at the Point, haunted by the Viking Ghost 'Hasten'.

So could it get any worst? Well no but er http://www.concretebarge.co.uk/ has come into information (Thanks Wayne down Kismet Park who told us) that the next on 'their'* list is the historical DUTCH COTTAGE museium. We have been told on good authority (Wayne & his glue sniffing mates) that she has been sold to become a fattening fast food franchise for fellow famished families.

To highlight this latest potential outrage we have for auction the attached picture that is a psedo artists (some prat with a paint program) of what you can expect to see next time you plan on visiting this museium (opening times 1 Sunday a year).
